Minister of Family & Youth - Todd Earnst
Todd's ministry
is focused upon the lives of young people with a special interest in
equipping the church to help strengthen families. His focus is upon Jr.
High, High School and College students and he strongly believes that
ministry to the household can be one of the most effective ways of
improving lives.
Before joining
First Church of Christ in August of 1998 as the Minister of Family and
Youth, his experiences included a youth ministry in Sandusky, Ohio, and
a youth and young adult ministry in a church-planting mission in the
South American country of Argentina. In 1996, he received his Bachelor
of Science in Biblical Studies from Cincinnati Bible College (now
Cincinnati Christian University) with an emphasis in Psychology. He
continued his studies there and, in 2002, completed a Master of Arts in
Practical Ministries with an emphasis in Family Life Education.

Director of Children’s Ministries – Amanda Earnst
Our church is
pleased to have active ministries for children ages birth through 5th
grade and their families. Amanda has a passion for helping children to
know Jesus and for families to be strengthened by being a part of the
church.
Before becoming
a part of our church, Amanda received a Bachelor of Science in Biblical
Studies and Early Childhood Development from Cincinnati Christian
University in 1996. She served at a church in Indianapolis, Indiana and
worked for Cincinnati Christian University before coming to Jackson with
her husband Todd in 1998. She served as a faithful volunteer in the
children’s ministries before becoming the Director in August of 2005.

Amanda’s own family includes their three children: Tyler, Alysa and
