Senior Minister - Michael Mason "God's business is people! The results are transformed lives!" and "God keeps his promises!" are two guiding themes for the ministry of Michael D. Mason. Born in Niles, Michigan, Michael received a Bachelor Degree in Religious Education at Great Lakes Christian College, then went on to earn a Master of Arts from Michigan State University. He has also studied at Jackson Community College and Cincinnati Bible College and Seminary (Now Cincinnati Christian University) in Cincinnati, Ohio. In the earlier years of his ministry, Michael served as the Youth Minister at the First Christian Church in Angola, Indiana. Later, in June of 1973, he moved to Jackson to serve as a Minister of Youth and Education, a role he’d fulfill for six years. Finally, on May 1st, 1979, Michael was called to the First Church of Christ to serve as Senior Minister. His family includes Donna, whom he married on July 9, 1972, and his two grown children; Robert, who works in Romulus, Michigan, and Christopher, who lives in Orlando, Florida with his wife, DeeDee. He also has four grandchildren. |

Family & Youth Minister - Todd Earnst Todd's ministry is focused upon the
lives of young people with a special interest in equipping the church to
help strengthen families. He strongly believes that ministry to the
household can be one of the most effective ways of improving lives. Before joining First Church of Christ in August of 1998 as the Minister of Family and Youth, he was actively involved in several youth ministries. His experiences include a youth ministry in Sandusky, Ohio, and a youth and young adult ministry in a church-planting mission in the South American Country of Argentina. He received his Bachelor of Science in Biblical Studies in Cincinnati Bible College (now Cincinnati Christian University) with an emphasis in Psychology. Later, he continued his studies there and, in 2002, completed a Master of Arts in Practical Ministries with an emphasis in Family Life Education. Todd’s own family includes his wife Amanda and two children; Tyler and Alysa. |
